The Everglows – Let it Out

East London trio The Everglows are back with a cracking new single ‘Let It Out‘.The band, featuring Andy Smith on vocals and guitar, Steve Perkins bass and Ray Brodrick on drums, started life as a covers band, but thanks to Andy’s song writing realised their future lay in original material. Taking influences from the 60’s sounds of Mod, garage and psychedelia their thrilling sound has made them a must-see live band and their latest releases reflect that.

Let It Out‘ is a sharp pop tune, filled with a tight melody and punchy 60’s inspired rock melodies reflecting the glory days of classic British guitar music. With its rousing, feel good chorus soaked in a psychedelic vibe, you can hear elements of The Byrds and The Who mixed in with the more contemporary, the likes of Paul Weller. ‘Let It Out‘ is a song that pretty much encapsulates the ethos behind the band and after featuring the band previously, we believe their best yet.
